How to Split a PDF into Pages
When you need to send only one part of a long document, sharing the entire file is unnecessary and can expose unrelated information. Splitting creates separate files from the pages you specify.

Add the document to PDF Split. Choose individual output pages or define ranges such as 1-3 and 4-8 when you want complete sections.
Check the output names and ranges when processing finishes. Open each result before sharing to verify that it starts and ends on the intended page.
Split versus extract
Splitting systematically separates a document into several parts. Page extraction is better when you want distant pages such as 2, 7 and 11 combined into one new PDF.
Avoid sharing confidential information
Extracting only the necessary pages reduces data exposure. If a required page contains sensitive fields, use permanent redaction; drawing a black shape may not remove the underlying text.
