Terms of Use

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between Docly ("we"), operated by Murat Canördek, and the person or organization using the Service with or without an account ("you"). By using the Service, you accept these Terms.

2. The Service

Docly provides a document workspace, controlled AI editing, chat, code, and PDF tools for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files. Some low-cost PDF tools are available without an account. Features may vary by file type, plan, and technical capacity. The Service is provided as available without a guarantee of a particular outcome.

3. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for accurate registration details and for protecting your password and API keys.
• You must promptly notify us if you notice unauthorized use of your account.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or guardian.
• Using a tool without sign-in does not create an account, but these Terms and tool limits still apply.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Process unlawful or harmful content or content that infringes another person's rights,
• Upload malware or try to bypass security, quotas, rate limits, or access controls,
• Place unreasonable load on the infrastructure, disrupt the Service through automated bulk requests, or reverse engineer it,
• Upload documents you are not authorized to use or share account access without authorization.

You are responsible for the legality of content you upload, prompts you provide, and outputs you use. We may limit access where there is a violation or security risk.

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

AI suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of context. Docly's controlled workflow helps you review changes, but you remain responsible for verification before using, publishing, or relying on an output for an important decision. The Service is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you use your own API key, that provider's fees and terms also apply.

6. Plans, Quotas, and Changes

The Free plan currently includes 100 MB of storage and 50 pooled AI operations per month; Pro includes 5 GB and 2,000 pooled AI operations per month. Tasks made with your own AI key do not consume Docly's pooled quota. Current prices, taxes, billing periods, and plan contents are shown on the pricing and checkout screens before purchase. Plans and limits may change prospectively; material changes affecting a current paid term will be communicated appropriately.

7. Payment, Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds

When Pro payments are enabled, Lemon Squeezy processes monthly or annual recurring subscriptions that renew each period unless checkout states otherwise. Taxes and currency are determined at checkout. You can cancel from the customer portal at any time; access normally continues through the paid period. Refund and withdrawal requests are assessed under mandatory consumer rights, whether digital-service performance has begun, and applicable payment-provider rules. 8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain rights to documents you upload. You grant the limited technical permission needed to host, transform, and process content for tasks you initiate. The Docly software, design, logo, and brand belong to Docly or their respective licensors.

9. Availability, Suspension, and Account Deletion

The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or events beyond reasonable control. We may restrict access for a Terms violation, payment issue, or security risk. If you downgrade while above quota, existing files are not deleted immediately; you may need to free space or upgrade before adding files. You can delete your account from Settings > Privacy & Data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Docly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on AI output, data loss, a third-party provider, or Service interruption. Mandatory consumer protections and liabilities that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected. Keep an independent backup of important documents.

11. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes and will communicate material changes through an appropriate channel. Subject to mandatory laws, the laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply. Contact [email protected] with questions.
